For the eastern and central North Pacific east of 180 longitude:
Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical 
Storm Pena, located several hundred miles south-southeast of the Big 
Island of Hawaii.
Eastern East Pacific:
A broad area of low pressure is producing disorganized showers and 
thunderstorms. Some development is possible over the next day or so 
while the system drifts northward. Regardless of development, this 
system is expected to bring areas of heavy rain to portions of 
Central America this weekend. Thereafter, unfavorable environmental 
conditions should end formation chances early next week as the 
system turns westward and moves away from land.
