DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 900 PM GMT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Hanna was 
located near latitude 34.0 North, longitude 44.5 West. Hanna is 
moving toward the southeast near 12 mph (19 km/h) and and this 
motion is forecast to continue with a decrease in forward speed 
through Wednesday morning, followed by a turn to the east-northeast.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. 
Gradual weakening is expected during the next couple of days, and 
Hanna is likely to become a post-tropical cyclone by Thursday.
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km)
from the center.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
