DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression 
Fifteen-E was located near latitude 16.5 North, longitude 118.9 
West. The depression is now moving toward the west-southwest near 9 
mph (15 km/h) and this general motion is expected to continue for 
the next several days with some gradual acceleration. 
 
Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher 
gusts. Some slight strengthening is still forecast, and the 
depression could become a tropical storm later today.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
