DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression
Fourteen-E was located near latitude 15.7 North, longitude 115.2
West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph
(15 km/h), and a generally westward motion is expected over the 
next couple of days. 
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Gradual strengthening is forecast over the next several days, and 
the depression could become a tropical storm tonight or Thursday.  
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
