057 ABNT20 KNHC 311756 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 PM EDT Mon Aug 31 2026 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of America: Active Systems: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed Tropical Depression Five, located over the northern Gulf of America. Near Hispaniola (Remnants of Dolly): A surface trough of low pressure (the remnants of Tropical Storm Dolly) is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms near and over portions of Hispaniola, Turks and Caicos, and the southeastern Bahamas. Significant development of this system is no longer expected while it moves west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph over the southwestern Atlantic.
