DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Julio was 
located near latitude 15.7 North, longitude 119.8 West. Julio is 
moving toward the north-northeast near 13 mph (20 km/h). This 
general motion with an increase in forward speed is expected today.
 
Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 45 mph (75 km/h) with 
higher gusts. Slight strengthening is forecast today before Julio 
becomes absorbed by Tropical Storm Iselle tonight.
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 160 miles (260 km)
from the center.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
