DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 1100 PM HST (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Lala was 
located near latitude 34.7 North, longitude 175.9 West. Lala is 
moving toward the northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h), and this general 
motion is expected to continue for the next few days.
 
Satellite-derived wind data indicate maximum sustained winds have 
decreased to near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional 
weakening is expected during the next several days, and Lala is 
forecast to degenerate to a post-tropical remnant low by Thursday 
night.
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km)
from the center.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 994 mb (29.36 inches).
