DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Ten-E was located near latitude 14.5 North, longitude 120.3 West. The depression is moving toward the north-northeast near 9 mph (15 km/h). This motion with an increase in forward speed is expected tonight and Tuesday. Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Slight strengthening is forecast, and the depression could become a tropical storm early Tuesday before it becomes absorbed by Iselle later that day.
