DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Ten-E 
was located near latitude 13.5 North, longitude 120.8 West. The 
depression is moving toward the north near 8 mph (13 km/h). This 
motion with an increase in forward speed is expected tonight and 
Tuesday.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. 
Slight strengthening is forecast, and the depression is likely to 
become a tropical storm tonight. The circulation is forecast to 
dissipate as it becomes absorbed by Iselle on Tuesday night.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
