Central Pacific (EP90): Showers and thunderstorms are becoming better organized in association with a broad area of low pressure located well to the east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands. Environmental conditions appear favorable for further development of this system, and a tropical depression is expected to form tonight or on Thursday while the system moves westward to west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph across the Central Pacific. Interests in the Hawaiian Islands should closely monitor the progress of this system. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...90 percent. * Formation chance through 7 days...high...90 percent. South-Southwest of Mexico: A tropical wave located a few hundred miles south of the coast of southern Mexico is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Central East Pacific: A broad area of low pressure associated with a tropical wave is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms several hundred miles south of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula.
