For the eastern and central North Pacific east of 180 longitude:
Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane 
Lala, located a few hundred miles west of Kauai, Hawaii.
South-Southwest of Mexico:
An area of low pressure is forecast to form several hundred miles 
south-southwest of the coast of southern Mexico around the end of 
the week. Gradual development of this system is likely thereafter, 
and a tropical depression is expected to form this weekend while the 
system moves generally west-northwestward, remaining well offshore 
of Mexico.

* Formation chance through 7 days...high...80 percent.
Western Portion of the East Pacific and the Central Pacific:
A tropical wave located well to the east-southeast of the Hawaiian 
Islands continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. 
Environmental conditions appear conducive for gradual development of 
this system, and a tropical depression is likely to form towards the 
end of the week or over the weekend while the system moves generally 
westward across the western portion of the east Pacific and into the 
Central Pacific.
