Strong wind gusts continue to pose a threat across the \nsoutheastern United States today, including Georgia, the southern \nAppalachians, and extending west through much of central and \nnorthern Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Scattered power \noutages and downed trees and powerlines may occur, with the risk \nhighest in elevated terrain.\n\n3.
