Nolo is moving \nfaster toward the west near 16 mph (26 km/h). A mainly westward\nmotion with an additional increase in forward speed is expected\nduring the next few days. On the forecast track, the center of Nolo\nwill continue to move through the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National\nMonument but remain just south of the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands\nwest of Maro Reef. Nolo is expected to cross the International Date\nLine by Sunday midday Hawaiian Time.\n \nSatellite images indicate that maximum sustained winds have \nincreased to near 115 mph (185 km/h) with higher gusts.  Nolo is a \ncategory 3 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.  \nAdditional strengthening is forecast during the next day or so, \nfollowed by gradual weakening beginning on Monday.\n \nHurricane-force winds extend outward up to 30 miles (45 km) from\nthe center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 150\nmiles (240 km).\n \nThe estimated minimum central pressure is 959 mb (28.32 inches).\n \n \nHAZARDS AFFECTING LAND\n----------------------\nWIND: Tropical storm conditions will continue within the Tropical\nStorm Warning area from Maro Reef to Lisianski Island through today.\n \nSURF: Large waves associated with Nolo will continue to affect the\nPapahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument over the next several\ndays. The surf will likely inundate some of the low-lying atolls\nfrom Maro Reef to Lisianski Island.
