The following\ninformation is based on satellite imagery, weather observations,\nradar, and meteorological analysis.\nBased on 0000 UTC surface analysis and satellite imagery through\n0230 UTC.\n...SPECIAL FEATURES...\nHurricane Rachel is centered near 19.2N 108.5W at 01/0300 UTC,\nmoving northwest at 6 kt. Estimated minimum central pressure is\n975 mb. Maximum sustained wind speed is 80 kt with gusts to 100\nkt. Numerous moderate to scattered strong convection is from 09N\nto 21N between 99W and 118W. On the forecast track, the center \nof Rachel is expected to move away from mainland Mexico and pass \nsouth of the Baja California Peninsula on Thursday. Swells \ngenerated by Rachel will affect the southwestern coast of Mexico \nduring the next couple of days and spread northward along the \ncoast of west-central Mexico and the Baja California Peninsula \nthrough the end of the week. These swells are likely to cause \nlife-threatening surf and rip current conditions. Please consult \nproducts from your local weather office.\nTropical Depression Nineteen-E is centered near 15.2N 125.9W at\n01/0300 UTC, moving east-northeast at 12 kt.
