Polo is moving\ntoward the west near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this motion is expected \nto continue through today, followed by a gradual turn to the \nnorthwest on Saturday and north on Sunday. A turn toward the \nnortheast is expected on Monday. On the forecast track, Polo is \nexpected to approach Baja California Sur on Monday.\n \nMaximum sustained winds have increased to near 160 mph (260 km/h) \nwith higher gusts. Polo is a category 5 hurricane on the \nSaffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. Fluctuations in intensity are \npossible over the next 12 to 24 hours.
