Environmental conditions are still expected to \nbe conducive for development, and a tropical depression is likely \nto form during the next day or two while the system moves slowly \nwest-northwestward or northwestward. Heavy rains associated with \nthis system are forecast to spread over the southeastern Hawaiian \nIslands starting on Wednesday and continuing into the weekend, and\ninterests in the Hawaiian Islands should continue to monitor the \nprogress of this system.\n* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent.\n* Formation chance through 7 days...high...90 percent.\nSouth of the Gulf of Tehuantepec:\nAn area of low pressure is expected to form in the next few days to \nthe south of the Gulf of Tehuantepec.
