The \nenvironmental conditions are still expected to be conducive for \nfurther development, and a tropical depression is likely to form \nduring the next day or two while the system moves slowly \nwest-northwestward or northwestward. Interests in the Hawaiian \nIslands should continue to monitor the progress of this system.\n* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent.\n* Formation chance through 7 days...high...90 percent.\nSouth of the Gulf of Tehuantepec:\nAn area of low pressure is expected to form in the next few days to \nthe south of the Gulf of Tehuantepec.
