Environmental conditions are forecast to become \nconducive for further development, and a tropical depression is \nlikely to form around midweek while it moves slowly west- \nnorthwestward or northwestward.  Interests in the Hawaiian \nIslands should monitor the progress of this system.\n* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent.\n* Formation chance through 7 days...high...90 percent.\nSouth of the Gulf of Tehuantepec:\nAn area of low pressure could form in a few days to the south of the \nGulf of Tehuantepec.
