While development \nchances have ended, the risk of heavy rains and flash flooding \ncontinues to portions of Sonora and into the Southwestern deserts of \nthe United States. \n* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.\n* Formation chance through 7 days...low...near 0 percent.\nSouthwest of Southwestern Mexico:\nAn area of low pressure could form well offshore of southwestern \nMexico within the next few days.  Environmental conditions appear \nconducive for some gradual development, and this system could \nbecome a tropical depression early next week while it moves slowly \nnorthwestward or northward.\n* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.\n* Formation chance through 7 days...medium...60 percent.\nWestern East Pacific:\nA tropical wave is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms \nwell to the south of the southern tip of the Baja California \nPeninsula.
