Marie is\nmoving toward the west-northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h).  A turn to\nthe northwest is forecast to occur over the next couple of days.\n \nMaximum sustained winds have decreased to near 50 mph (85 km/h)\nwith higher gusts.  Steady weakening is expected for the next couple\nof days, and Marie is forecast to become a post-tropical remnant low\nby Wednesday.\n \nTropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km)\nfrom the center.\n \nThe estimated minimum central pressure is 994 mb (29.36 inches) \n \nHAZARDS AFFECTING LAND\n----------------------\nSURF: Swells generated by Marie will continue to affect portions of\nthe coast of the Baja California Peninsula and southern California\nfor the next couple of days.
