Therefore, Karina no longer meets the definition of a\ntropical cyclone, and this is the last advisory on this system by\nNHC. However, the cyclone is still producing gale-force winds north\nof the center, and the initial wind speed is estimated to be around\n40 kt based on earlier ASCAT data and the latest satellite intensity\nestimates.\n \nStrong shear, dry air, and cool waters should cause the\npost-tropical cyclone to continue to weaken while it moves\nwest-northwestward in the low-level flow. All of the reliable\nmodels show the low degenerating into a trough Monday night as\nit approaches Hurricane Lowell to its west.\n \nFor additional information on this system please see High Seas \nForecasts issued by the National Weather Service, under AWIPS header \nNFDHSFEPI, WMO header FZPN01 KWBC, and on the web at \nocean.weather.gov/shtml/NFDHSFEPI.php\n\nFORECAST POSITIONS AND MAX WINDS\n \nINIT  07/0300Z 23.1N 146.2W   40 KT  45 MPH...POST-TROPICAL\n 12H  07/1200Z 23.2N 147.6W   35 KT  40 MPH...POST-TROPICAL\n 24H  08/0000Z 23.7N 150.0W   30 KT  35 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n 36H  08/1200Z...DISSIPATED\n \n"}
