Karina is\nmoving toward the west-northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h). A westward to\nwest-northwestward motion is expected over the next day or two,\nalong with an increase in forward speed.\n \nMaximum sustained winds have decreased to near 50 mph (85 km/h)\nwith higher gusts.
