Some \nstrengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and gradual \nweakening is anticipated to begin by this weekend. Swells \ngenerated by Marie will affect portions of the coast of southwest\nMexico and the Baja California Peninsula for the next few days \nand will likely spread northward to southern California over the \nweekend. These swells are likely to cause life- threatening surf \nand rip current conditions. Please consult products from your \nlocal weather office.\nPlease read the latest HIGH SEAS FORECAST issued by the National\nHurricane Center at website - \nhttps://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/MIAHSFEP2.shtml and the latest \nMarie NHC Forecast/Advisory and Public Advisory at \nwww.hurricanes.gov for more details.\n \n...TROPICAL WAVES...\nA tropical wave is along 96W, extending from the Gulf of\nTehuantepec to 05N, moving west at 10 kt.
