The remnants are moving\ntoward the northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h) and this motion is expected\nto continue until dissipation on Thursday\n \nMaximum sustained winds are near 25 mph (35 km/h) with higher gusts.\nLittle change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours.\n\nThe estimated minimum central pressure is 1011 mb (29.86 inches).\n \n \nHAZARDS AFFECTING LAND\n----------------------\nKey messages for Tropical Depression Edouard can be found in the\nTropical Cyclone Discussion under AWIPS header MIATCDAT5 and WMO\nheader WTNT45 KNHC.\n \nWIND: Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph may continue near the center of\nEdouard for the next several hours, with lower winds expected\novernight and Thursday.\n \nRAINFALL: Total rainfall along the path of Edouard is expected to\nrange from 5 to 10 inches, with maximum totals up to 22 inches for\ninland areas of east-central Texas.
