Karina is moving \ntoward the west-northwest near 10 mph (17 km/h) and a \nwest-northwestward motion is expected over the next few days.\n \nMaximum sustained winds are near 130 mph (215 km/h) with higher \ngusts.  Karina is a category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson \nHurricane Wind Scale.  A slow weakening trend is forecast the next \nfew days, followed by a more steady rate of weakening.
