Karina is moving\ntoward the west-northwest near 10 mph (17 km/h) and a westward to\nwest-northwestward motion is expected over the next few days.\n \nMaximum sustained winds are near 145 mph (230 km/h) with higher \ngusts.  Karina is a category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson \nHurricane Wind Scale.
