The tropical storm winds extends outward up to 25 \nmiles from the center. Winds will continue to decrease over Southeast \nTexas, however, Edouard can still produce strong gusty winds mainly \nover areas along and east of I-45. A Wind Advisory will remain in \neffect for the far eastern and northeastern counties. Also, the \nsystem's rainbands will continue to produce moderate to heavy rainfall,\nwhich has the potential for flash flooding. Moreover, residual \ntropical moisture behind the system could result in additional rainfall\non Wednesday as well. \n\nPOTENTIAL IMPACTS\n-----------------\n\n* FLOODING RAIN:\nAdditional impacts from flooding rain are still a concern across \nportions of Southeast Texas. When going outside \nbe sure to stay away from downed power lines, hazardous debris and \nflooded areas.\n\nIf your home or shelter was damaged, be alert to the smell of gas \nleaks and be cautious around electrical wiring, broken glass, jagged \nmetal and wood, and protruding nails and screws.\n\nDo not attempt to return to evacuated areas until local authorities \nhave inspected roads and bridges and have given the all clear. \nHazards like downed power lines and trees, washed out roads, \ncontinued flooding in low lying areas and non-functioning traffic \nlights make travel difficult. \n\nBe alert for flooded roads which could be compromised or littered \nwith debris. Avoid travel until water levels subside and roads have \nbeen cleared. Do not drive through places where flood waters cover \nthe road.
