The \nstorm is moving toward the west-northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h). A \nwest-northwestward to northwestward motion is forecast during the \nnext day or two. On the forecast track, the center of Edouard \nis predicted to reach the northwestern Gulf Coast within the \nwarning area on Tuesday and move inland over southeast Texas on \nTuesday night.\n \nRecent radar and satellite data indicate that the maximum \nsustained winds have increased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher \ngusts.
