Lowell is\nmoving toward the northwest near 5 mph (7 km/h). A turn toward the \nwest is expected by tonight, and a westward motion at a faster \nforward speed is expected over the weekend.\n \nMaximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts.\nLittle change in strength is expected through tonight.
