The Dvorak current \nintensity estimates from JTWC and HFO have decreased to T2.5/35 kt, \nand so the initial intensity is lowered to 40 kt.\n\nFixes from recent AMSR3 and GMI passive microwave images suggest \nLala has resumed a slow northwestward motion (310/4 kt), steered by \na mid-level ridge just to the northeast of the storm. This ridge \nshould keep Lala on a slow northwestward heading while the storm \napproaches the International Date Line (IDL). The updated NHC track \nforecast has been nudged to the right of the previous one, in \nresponse to an eastward shift in the latest track guidance envelope. \nLala will remain in a fairly dry mid-level environment while \nencountering increasing shear over cool waters during the next \ncouple of days. Thus, continued weakening is forecast, and Lala is \npredicted to lose organized convection and become a post-tropical \nlow by 48 h as it reaches the IDL. Post-tropical Lala is forecast to \naccelerate deeper into the mid-latitudes over the weekend, and it \nshould open up into a trough over the northern Pacific by 120 h.\n \n \nFORECAST POSITIONS AND MAX WINDS\n \nINIT  26/0900Z 35.4N 177.7W   40 KT  45 MPH\n 12H  26/1800Z 35.9N 178.2W   40 KT  45 MPH\n 24H  27/0600Z 36.6N 178.7W   40 KT  45 MPH\n 36H  27/1800Z 37.4N 179.3W   35 KT  40 MPH\n 48H  28/0600Z 38.0N 180.0E   35 KT  40 MPH...POST-TROPICAL\n 60H  28/1800Z 38.6N 179.0E   30 KT  35 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n 72H  29/0600Z 39.5N 177.6E   25 KT  30 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n 96H  30/0600Z 44.5N 174.5E   25 KT  30 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n120H  31/0600Z...DISSIPATED\n \n"}
