The\ndepression is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h). and this\nmotion is expected to continue for the next day or two, taking the \nsystem farther away from the Hawaiian Islands.\n \nMaximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.\nWeakening is expected, and Moke is forecast to degenerate to a\nremnant low pressure area late today and dissipate on Tuesday.\n \nThe estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).\n \n \nHAZARDS AFFECTING LAND\n----------------------\nKey messages for Tropical Depression Moke can be found in the\nTropical Cyclone Discussion under AWIPS header HFOTCDCP3 and WMO\nheader WTPA43 PHFO.\n \nRAINFALL: Tropical Depression Moke is expected to produce additional \nrainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches through Monday across the Big \nIsland and an additional 1 to 3 inches on eastern Maui. This \nrainfall may produce areas of flash flooding for the windward and \nsoutheast Big Island, especially in steep terrain and over areas \nthat were affected recently by Lala.
