The \ndepression is moving toward the west-northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h). \nA gradual turn to the west and southwest is expected over the next \nday or so.\n \nMaximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. \nSome slight strengthening is possible during the next day or so, and \nthe depression could become a tropical storm by Thursday.
