Prevailing wind shear and increasing \nmid-level dry air entrainment have taken their toll on Amanda, and \nthe system no longer has enough organized convection to be \nconsidered a tropical cyclone. Thus, this is the final advisory of \nAmanda and the initial intensity has been lowered to 25 kt. \nIncreasingly hostile environmental conditions will likely preclude \nany additional return of deep convection and the remnant low should \ngradually spin down over the next couple of days, eventually \ndissipating around mid-week.\n\nThe post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west around 5 kt, and \nthis general motion is expected to continue over the next several \ndays. The official NHC forecast has been shifted slightly northward \nand lies between HCCA and various other consensus aids.\n\nFor additional information on this system, please see High Seas \nForecasts issued by the National Weather Service, under AWIPS header \nNFDHSFEPI, WMO header FZPN02 KWBC, and on the web at \nocean.weather.gov/shtml/NFDHSFEPI.php\n \n \nFORECAST POSITIONS AND MAX WINDS\n \nINIT  08/0300Z 11.3N 136.3W   25 KT  30 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n 12H  08/1200Z 11.1N 136.9W   25 KT  30 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n 24H  09/0000Z 10.8N 138.0W   25 KT  30 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n 36H  09/1200Z 10.5N 139.0W   25 KT  30 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n 48H  10/0000Z 10.3N 140.2W   25 KT  30 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n 60H  10/1200Z 10.1N 141.0W   25 KT  30 MPH...POST-TROP/REMNT LOW\n 72H  11/0000Z...DISSIPATED\n \n"}
